Florida’s Huge LGBTQ+ Halloween Street Party Is Taking Over Wilton Manors
icked Manors returns to Wilton Manors on October 31, 2026, for a huge LGBTQ+ Halloween street party supporting The Pride Center.
South Florida is preparing for one of its biggest Halloween celebrations as Wicked Manors returns to the LGBTQ+ heart of Wilton Manors for a huge night of costumes, music, dancing and fundraising.
Wicked Manors 2026 takes over Wilton Drive on Saturday, October 31, with this year’s Masquerade of Mayhem theme bringing a suitably dramatic look to the annual celebration. Family trick-or-treating begins at 5pm before the main street festival runs from 6pm until 11pm, turning the neighbourhood into a pedestrian Halloween party.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to descend on the area, with elaborate costumes, live entertainment, DJs, dancing and costume competitions all forming part of the night. Greater Fort Lauderdale’s official tourism organisation describes Wicked Manors as South Florida’s largest Halloween street party.
Halloween with a purpose
Wicked Manors is not simply an enormous night out. The event is presented by The Pride Center at Equality Park in partnership with the City of Wilton Manors and is an important fundraiser for LGBTQ+ and community services across South Florida.
Proceeds help support health, human and social services delivered by The Pride Center and other nonprofit organisations in the region. That gives visitors another reason to get involved, with money generated by the Halloween celebration helping programmes and services that continue long after the costumes have been packed away.
Make a Florida break out of it
Wilton Manors sits alongside Fort Lauderdale and is one of Florida’s best-known LGBTQ+ destinations. Wilton Drive is at the centre of its LGBTQ+ scene, with bars, restaurants and LGBTQ+-owned businesses clustered around the same area that becomes the setting for Wicked Manors.
There is plenty of reason to stay beyond Halloween night too. Fort Lauderdale's beaches are nearby, while the wider destination has a substantial LGBTQ+ hotel, nightlife and hospitality scene. Miami is also around 30 miles south, making it possible to combine both destinations during a longer South Florida holiday.
Where to stay for Wicked Manors
Staying in or close to Wilton Manors makes sense for anyone travelling primarily for Wicked Manors, particularly if exploring the bars and restaurants around Wilton Drive is also part of the trip. Nearby Fort Lauderdale gives visitors a much larger choice of accommodation, including beachfront hotels for anyone wanting to combine Halloween with some Florida sunshine.
With October 31 falling on a Saturday in 2026, the event also lends itself particularly well to a longer weekend. Travellers could spend Halloween in Wilton Manors before adding several days around Fort Lauderdale or heading south to Miami.
Getting there from the UK
For UK travellers, the easiest option is likely to be flying directly to Miami International Airport, with nonstop services available from London. Miami is around 30 miles south of Fort Lauderdale, making it possible to combine Wicked Manors with a few nights in Miami or South Beach before heading north to Wilton Manors.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is much closer to Wilton Manors, but travellers from the UK will generally need a connecting flight to reach it. Anyone planning a longer Florida holiday could also compare Orlando or Tampa, although both are considerably farther away and make more sense as part of a wider road trip rather than specifically for Wicked Manors
