Emmerdale Ruby Miligan fights for life inside buried coffin

Ruby Miligan faces a terrifying fight for survival when she wakes inside the coffin Joe Tate has buried underground. With no obvious way out, she quickly realises the full horror of what has happened.

Ruby desperately attempts to escape her confinement. The enclosed space leaves her with almost no room to move and no way of knowing whether anybody even knows where she is.

Her strength begins to disappear as the ordeal continues. Ruby eventually slips into silence and appears to run out of air. The terrifying development leaves her fate hanging in the balance while Caleb Miligan desperately tries to find a way to save his wife.

Above ground, Caleb now knows exactly what Joe has done. He has begged Joe to release Ruby, but Joe remains unmoved and continues blaming Caleb for Dawn Fletcher’s death. That leaves Ruby trapped while the two men face each other in an increasingly dangerous confrontation.

Time is now the biggest threat. Ruby has no control over what is happening outside the coffin, while Caleb has no idea whether he can persuade Joe to reveal what he needs to know. Every moment she remains buried increases the danger.

Joe may see his actions as revenge for losing Dawn, but Ruby is the person paying the price. As she falls silent underground, the question is whether Caleb or anyone else can reach her before her terrifying ordeal becomes fatal.
