Emmerdale Robert Sugden warns Sadie King to stop cash hunt
Emmerdale’s Robert Sugden wants to abandon the search for Jimmy’s money, but Sadie King refuses to listen and takes a risk that puts her in Caleb’s sights.
Robert wants to call time on the search for Jimmy’s missing money in upcoming Emmerdale scenes. Sadie, however, remains convinced that continuing the hunt will pay off, leaving the pair increasingly divided over their next move.
Their attention turns to the haulage depot, where Sadie believes Jimmy could have hidden the proceeds from selling his shares to Caleb. She urges Robert to search the premises, but he doubts they are going to find what they want.
The hunt has already brought them close to being exposed. Further near misses leave Robert unsettled, and he warns Sadie that they should cut their losses before taking more risks.
Sadie refuses to accept that the search has reached a dead end. Having come this far, she remains determined to follow her latest lead, even without Robert sharing her confidence.
Coming up, she ignores his warnings and heads to the depot herself. Once inside, she begins searching Caleb’s office, only for Caleb to catch her and demand an explanation.
Robert’s concerns suddenly look well founded. Sadie has put herself in exactly the position he wanted them to avoid, with the owner of the business standing in front of her and asking what she is doing there.
Meanwhile, Nicola remains unaware of where Jimmy’s money has gone. Sadie and Robert have been pursuing it for themselves, despite the financial difficulties facing his widow and children.
There is still no confirmation that the cash is at the depot. For all Sadie’s certainty, her latest attempt brings an unwelcome confrontation rather than a confirmed breakthrough.
