Coming up, Laurel offers her support and takes Nicola home. She wishes she could do more to ease her friend’s suffering, but Nicola is struggling with several devastating developments at once.

Elsewhere, Sadie and Robert continue searching for the money Jimmy received from selling his shares in the haulage business. Nicola remains unaware of where he put it, while the debts he left behind make that missing money particularly significant.
For Nicola, the messages form part of a picture she is still struggling to understand. Whether they tell the whole story remains unanswered, leaving her facing the possibility that there is more about Jimmy’s final months she has yet to discover.
