Emmerdale Graham gives Joe huge ultimatum over Baby Tate
Emmerdale’s Graham makes a huge stand against Joe’s Baby Tate adoption plan, warning he will leave Joe’s life forever if the adoption goes ahead.
Graham Foster makes a huge stand against Joe Tate in Emmerdale as he desperately tries to stop Baby Tate being put up for adoption. Joe remains determined to continue with his plan, despite Kim already trying in vain to persuade him to reconsider.
Graham decides to make his own position unmistakably clear and gives Joe a devastating ultimatum. He tells Joe that if the adoption goes ahead, he will leave his life forever.
Joe is therefore faced with Graham making his future dependent on what happens to Baby Tate. Graham is prepared to walk away completely if Joe refuses to change his decision about the adoption.
Joe and Graham later arrive home with Baby Tate, initially delighting Kim when she sees the baby again. Her hope quickly disappears when she discovers the adoption plan remains unchanged and Joe has only brought the baby back so she can say goodbye.
Kim desperately begs Joe to rethink his decision, but she then discovers Graham is leaving too. His earlier warning to Joe has made clear just how strongly he feels about what is happening to the baby.
Joe’s adoption decision has now created a major divide between the people around him. Kim is desperately trying to keep Baby Tate in the family, while Graham has made clear that going ahead with the adoption will also cost Joe their relationship.
