EastEnders Zoe Star Michelle Ryan Teases New Project

EastEnders star Michelle Ryan has revealed she is already working on another project as her latest stint as Zoe Slater approaches its end. Michelle has not yet revealed what the project is, but has told followers that she hopes to share more details soon.

Posting on her verified Instagram account, Michelle wrote: “Working on my next project this summer and looking forward to sharing more soon.” The update comes following confirmation that her return to EastEnders will come to an end after Zoe made her long-awaited comeback to Walford in 2025.

Michelle has also recently been promoting Finding My Voice, a British drama in which she plays Lisa, the mother of aspiring singer-songwriter Mel. However, the film was shot before Michelle returned to EastEnders, meaning it is separate from the new project she is currently teasing.

Finding My Voice follows Mel as her life and family are changed by tragedy, with music forming an important part of her story. Michelle’s character Lisa is part of the family at the centre of the film, which has already been shown at the Manchester Film Festival.

Exactly what Michelle is now working on remains under wraps. With the actress promising that more information is coming, fans will have to wait a little longer to discover what follows her latest spell as Zoe.
