EastEnders Stars Molly Rainford and Danny Walters Lead Pretty Woman UK Tour
EastEnders stars Molly Rainford and Danny Walters will lead the 2027 Pretty Woman UK tour, with performances in Leeds, Manchester and more.
Two former EastEnders stars are heading on tour together, with Molly Rainford and Danny Walters announced as the leads of Pretty Woman: The Musical.
Molly, who played Anna Knight in the BBC soap, will make her professional stage debut as Vivian Ward, while Danny, best known for playing Keanu Taylor, takes on the role of wealthy businessman Edward Lewis.
The musical begins its new UK tour at New Wimbledon Theatre on 10 March 2027, with Bernadette Bangura also joining the cast as Vivian’s best friend, Kit De Luca.
EastEnders stars take on Hollywood romance
The casting brings together two familiar soap performers in roles originally made famous by Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in the 1990 romantic comedy.
Molly previously appeared in CBBC’s Nova Jones and reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2022. Danny has also appeared on stage, with previous theatre credits including The Greater Game and Spring Awakening.
Based on the hit film, Pretty Woman follows Vivian, a sex worker who meets wealthy businessman Edward, with their unexpected relationship gradually developing into romance.
The musical features songs by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, with a script by Garry Marshall and J. F. Lawton.
Where is Pretty Woman touring in 2027?
Following its Wimbledon opening, the production visits Manchester from 23 March to 3 April, York from 20 April to 1 May and Leeds Grand Theatre from 27 to 31 July.
Other confirmed destinations include Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Sunderland, Southampton, Hull, Liverpool, Nottingham and Aberdeen.
The tour continues until 16 October 2027, with tickets available through participating theatre box offices.
For EastEnders viewers, it offers the chance to see Molly and Danny reunited in a very different setting, with Molly taking on her first professional theatre role.
