EastEnders spoilers for 24–27 August bring Denise’s coma ordeal, a shock custody threat, Ravi and Priya’s love reveal and a legal showdown for Suki.
Walford faces another dramatic few days from 24–27 August, with Denise fighting through a serious medical crisis and Suki and Eve rocked by news that could change their lives with Ria. Elsewhere, Priya and Ravi finally confront their feelings, while Alfie’s party ends with far more drama than he bargained for.
Denise’s condition takes a frightening turn
Denise is placed into a coma, leaving her loved ones facing an increasingly serious situation. Then Kim makes a startling discovery that Denise has a long-lost relative, potentially changing everything for the family.
That relative is Denise’s half-brother Darnell, who arrives to visit her but is quickly overwhelmed by what he finds. Kim and Jack later pin their hopes on Darnell and his daughter Grace as Denise’s crisis continues.
Priya and Jean launch a DNA mission
Priya and Jean attempt to obtain DNA samples from Max and Ravi as their plan moves forward. Their actions put both men firmly at the centre of another mystery unfolding in Albert Square.
Priya’s attention later turns towards her own future with Ravi. The pair confirm their love for one another and begin looking ahead to what life together could hold.
Amy hears a major development
Amy overhears a new development in the investigation into Joel’s assault, pulling her back into the unfolding situation. She then faces a much more personal setback when she makes a move on Denzel.
Denzel rejects Amy, leaving her disappointed after taking the chance. With the assault investigation also developing, Amy has plenty to deal with.
Suki and Eve are hit by a custody bombshell
Suki and Eve are devastated to learn that Ria’s mum may seek custody. The possibility immediately throws Ria’s future into uncertainty and leaves the couple facing a potentially serious battle.
Their fears only intensify when Ria is later hurt. Suki reacts furiously and threatens Kat with legal action as tensions explode.
Max faces an uncomfortable stag do surprise
Cindy decides Oscar should take charge of organising Max’s stag do. Rather than embracing the idea, Max is left uneasy about what is being arranged.
The tension surrounding Max provides another strand of drama alongside the much heavier events affecting Denise and Suki. His reaction makes it clear that the proposed celebrations are not sitting comfortably with him.
Alfie’s Benidorm party ends in chaos
Alfie throws himself into organising a Benidorm-themed party for Kat in an attempt to bring some holiday fun to Walford. His plans quickly unravel when a strict community officer arrives and shuts the celebration down.
The fallout becomes far more serious when Ria is hurt. With Suki already terrified by the possibility of a custody fight, the incident pushes her to threaten Kat with legal action.
