EastEnders Ria Injured as Alfie’s Huge Party Ends in Chaos

Alfie’s attempt to give Kat a much-needed lift takes an unexpected turn in upcoming EastEnders scenes when his huge Benidorm-themed celebration ends in chaos. What begins as a heartfelt surprise for his wife ultimately results in young Ria being hurt and fresh trouble for the Moons.

Alfie has gone to considerable lengths to cheer Kat up after noticing that something is troubling her. Inspired by happier memories, he rallies the family and transforms Albert Square into a makeshift Benidorm, complete with a paddling pool and slide.

Kat is touched by the effort and the residents quickly join the celebrations, turning Alfie’s surprise into a full street party. For a while, his plan appears to have worked perfectly as Kat gets swept up in the fun and the Square embraces the holiday atmosphere.

However, the festivities begin to unravel when a community officer orders the party to be shut down and warns the Moons that they could face a hefty fine. Alfie attempts to calm the situation, but an even more serious problem soon emerges.

Ria is injured during the chaos, immediately changing the mood and leaving those around her deeply concerned. The accident is particularly worrying because Suki and Eve are already dealing with uncertainty surrounding Ria’s future.

Alfie had simply wanted to create a special day for Kat, but the unexpected accident leaves his good intentions overshadowed by concern for Ria. With Suki understandably focused on protecting the youngster, the aftermath of the party looks set to create further complications.

What started as one of Alfie’s biggest gestures for Kat therefore ends very differently from how he intended. His Benidorm surprise may have brought the Square together, but Ria’s accident ensures the celebrations will have consequences long after the party finishes.
