EastEnders Ravi Exit Report as Aaron Thiara Tipped to Leave

EastEnders star Aaron Thiara is reportedly set to leave his role as Ravi Gulati after four years in Walford. His departure has not been officially announced by EastEnders, but online reports suggest Aaron is preparing to move on from the BBC soap.

Aaron joined EastEnders as Ravi in 2022 and has since become an important part of the Panesar and Gulati family stories. Ravi’s relationships with Priya, Nugget and Avani have given the character a strong family connection alongside the darker storylines that initially defined him.

The reported departure comes after considerable development for Ravi. He arrived as a dangerous and unpredictable figure, but viewers have gradually seen more of his vulnerabilities and the complicated relationships behind his actions.

His recent mental health and PTSD storyline has taken that development further, with Ravi reaching crisis point before receiving professional help. EastEnders worked with Samaritans on the storyline, while Aaron has previously spoken about allowing viewers to see more of the person behind Ravi’s past behaviour.

Reports suggest Aaron could continue filming until later in the year, potentially keeping Ravi on screen into early 2027. No final episode or details of Ravi’s possible exit storyline have been announced, so there could still be significant material ahead for the character.
