EastEnders Confirms La Voix Appearance As Drag Race UK Star Joins Pride Celebrations

EastEnders is set to welcome the fabulous La Voix to Albert Square as part of the soap’s Pride celebrations.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star is expected to appear in scenes based around the Queen Vic, with reports stating that La Voix will perform during the special episode.

La Voix, whose birth name is Christopher Dennis, has become a familiar television personality after appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Strictly Come Dancing and Eurovision coverage.

Her EastEnders appearance is set to form part of the BBC soap’s LGBTQ+ celebrations, with the scenes expected to air in early July.

Reports have also highlighted La Voix’s friendship with EastEnders actress Harriet Thorpe, who plays Elaine Peacock. Harriet joined the soap in 2023 as the Queen Vic landlady and remains a central part of the show’s pub setting.

The appearance continues EastEnders’ long history of LGBTQ+ representation. The soap previously featured a Pride themed celebration in 2019, with Albert Square hosting a parade.

La Voix’s cameo brings another recognisable entertainment name into the Queen Vic and adds a celebratory element to EastEnders’ latest Pride storyline.

The special Pride scenes are expected to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in early July.
