EastEnders Alfie Transforms Albert Square for Huge Kat Surprise

Alfie goes all out to put a smile back on Kat’s face in upcoming EastEnders scenes when he transforms Albert Square for a huge Benidorm-themed celebration. His plans begin after he realises Kat is struggling and decides that his wife needs something to lift her spirits.

While watching Bert and Ernie working on a school project, Alfie notices Kat looking upset. Determined to help, he quickly recruits the rest of the family and comes up with an ambitious idea inspired by happier times they have shared together.

Before long, plans are underway for a Benidorm-themed street party. Alfie wants to recreate some of that holiday atmosphere for Kat and give her the chance to forget her worries for a while, with the wider Square soon joining in.

The celebration grows considerably as residents get into the spirit of the occasion. A paddling pool and slide are set up in Albert Square as Alfie turns the street into his own version of a Spanish holiday resort.

Kat is touched by the lengths her family have gone to in order to cheer her up, and the party initially succeeds in bringing some much-needed fun back to the Square. Alfie’s determination to support her shows just how much he wants to see Kat enjoying herself again after noticing how low she has been feeling.

However, the celebrations do not go entirely to plan. The party eventually attracts the attention of a community officer, while an accident involving young Ria brings the fun to an abrupt end.

Alfie may have started the day with the best of intentions, but his attempt to give Kat a memorable surprise soon leaves him dealing with consequences he never expected. Before that happens, though, Albert Square gets a full Benidorm makeover as the Slaters rally around Kat when she needs them.
