Coronation Street’s Brody Arrested As Theo Murder Investigation Explodes
Coronation Street’s Theo murder mystery takes a major turn when Brody is arrested after forensic evidence links him directly to the case.
Upcoming scenes reveal DS Lisa Connor-Swain swoops in after police discover Brody’s fingerprints all over Todd Grimshaw’s missing mobile phone. The phone vanished on the night Theo died, immediately placing Brody under suspicion.
Sally Metcalfe and Tim Metcalfe are left horrified as Brody is taken in for questioning, struggling to believe somebody living under their roof could now be facing accusations connected to murder.
The storyline begins with Todd heading to prison to visit Summer Spellman, who is currently preparing to plead guilty to manslaughter. Summer believes accepting responsibility may give her the best chance of receiving a more lenient sentence.
However, the investigation suddenly shifts direction once the forensic results on Todd’s missing phone come back.
Lisa, as always, acts quickly and arrests Brody on suspicion of theft after his fingerprints are found all over the device. The discovery creates another huge twist in Theo’s death investigation and raises serious questions about Brody’s involvement on the night Theo died.
The fact that DC Kit Green who is Brody’s biological father, adds another potential complicated layer to the storyline as the investigation continues unfolding.
Todd is left stunned by the arrest and immediately questions whether Brody may have stolen the phone without being connected to Theo’s death itself. Lisa also reassures Todd that police are still considering other suspects and that the case remains open.
