Chappell Roan announces MUNA, Tinashe and Lola Young for LGBTQ+ charity concerts
Chappell Roan announces MUNA, Tinashe, Lola Young and Caroline Polachek for two Los Angeles charity concerts supporting trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities.
Chappell Roan has announced a star-studded line-up for two special charity concerts in Los Angeles, bringing together MUNA, Tinashe, Lola Young and Caroline Polachek to raise money for organisations supporting trans young people and LGBTQ+ communities.
The pop star will headline The Super Graphic Spectacular at the Shrine Auditorium on 21 and 22 October 2026, with different guest performers appearing each night. The event is being organised through Roan’s Midwest Princess Project, which has raised more than $800,000 and supported over 60 organisations since its launch in 2025.
The concerts mark the project’s first anniversary, combining live music with community events designed to connect fans with LGBTQ+ organisations and give them opportunities to get involved.
MUNA, Tinashe and Lola Young lead the line-up
The two nights will feature an eclectic mix of musicians and performers, with Lola Young, Tinashe, Amanda Lepore, Blaine Petrovia and Kyra Jeté appearing on Wednesday, 21 October.
Thursday’s concert will feature Caroline Polachek and MUNA, alongside Alisa Mae, Fantasia Royale Gaga and Sweaty Eddie. Comedian Caleb Hearon will host both evenings, bringing together artists from across pop music and LGBTQ+ entertainment.
Roan announced the line-up on social media, expressing her excitement about the artists joining her for the fundraiser. The different performers across the two nights give fans a choice of shows while bringing together established pop names, drag performers and emerging talent for the charitable initiative.
How the Midwest Princess Project supports LGBTQ+ communities
Roan founded the Midwest Princess Project in 2025 to support trans young people and LGBTQ+ communities through charitable funding, practical resources and community engagement.
According to the project’s official website, it has already raised more than $800,000 and supported over 60 organisations working to make life safer, healthier and happier for LGBTQ+ people. Its work includes highlighting charities that provide direct services for trans young people and encouraging fans to volunteer with organisations in their own communities.
The Super Graphic Spectacular will help fund the project’s next stage, with all net proceeds from the concerts going towards its work. The initiative gives Roan an opportunity to connect her music audience with organisations providing support and resources to LGBTQ+ people across the United States.
Fans can attend the Super Graphic Block Party
The concerts will be accompanied by The Super Graphic Block Party, a daytime event taking place at the Shrine’s West Lot on both dates. Running from 1pm until 4pm, the block party will be open to the public, with separate tickets required for entry.
Activities will include drag performances, DJs, local artists and vendors, food trucks, Chappell Roan-themed photo opportunities and opportunities to connect with local LGBTQ+ organisations. Fans will also be able to take part in a costume contest and discover volunteer opportunities with community groups.
Concert ticket holders will have exclusive access to a separate block party session from 4.30pm until 7.30pm before the evening performances. The daytime events are intended to make the fundraiser accessible to people who may not have tickets for the concerts themselves, while giving local organisations an opportunity to meet supporters and share information about their work.
A year of action beyond the music
The fundraiser represents another step in Roan’s work supporting LGBTQ+ communities beyond her music career. By bringing performers and fans together, the Midwest Princess Project is using the concerts to raise funds while giving organisations working with trans young people greater visibility.
The involvement of artists including MUNA, whose music has a strong following among LGBTQ+ audiences, also gives the event a broader cultural significance. Alongside the live performances, the community programme offers fans a practical way to engage with the causes being supported rather than simply attending a concert.
