Celebrity Traitors first look reveals eerie Lady Claudia ship
Celebrity Traitors 2026 first-look pictures reveal the Lady Claudia ship and a striking new mission as 21 stars prepare to enter the game.
The UK Celebrity Traitors 2026 has unveiled a weathered wooden ship named Lady Claudia in new pictures from tonight’s opening episode.
With a sinister carved figure at its bow and crates scattered across the water, the setting offers a striking first glimpse of what awaits the celebrity contestants.
Claudia Winkleman is back to oversee the deception as 21 famous faces enter the game. Before anyone can make themselves comfortable at the Round Table, these pictures suggest there is a distinctly nautical challenge in store.
A ship with Claudia’s name on it

The wooden vessel sits at the edge of a Highland loch, with its mast, ropes and rigging rising against the hills.
A red stripe runs around the hull, while barrels and wooden crates complete the scene around the rocky shoreline.
One close-up reveals an ornate board bearing the words “Lady Claudia”.

Another focuses on the grimacing carved figure attached to the front of the ship, giving the setting an appropriately unsettling finish.
The pictures establish the mission’s look, but leave its rules under wraps.
Whether those crates hold something the celebrities need to retrieve, or form part of another task entirely, remains to be seen.
Claudia is pictured beside the loch in a dark jacket, tartan trousers and chunky black boots.

Who is taking part in Celebrity Traitors 2026
The acting names include Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, Richard E. Grant, Myha’la, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney. Soap fans will also recognise former Coronation Street favourite Julie Hesmondhalgh and EastEnders star Ross Kemp.
James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan and Joanne McNally join the line-up, alongside Miranda Hart. James Blunt and Leigh-Anne Pinnock bring music credentials, while Maya Jama and Jerry Hall are also heading into the game.

Amol Rajan, Professor Hannah Fry and content creator King Kenny complete the 21 contestants. They will compete for a charity prize fund worth up to £100,000.
What can we expect from the opening episode
Claudia chooses the Traitors, who must conceal their identities while the Faithful try to expose them. The celebrities work together on missions to build the prize fund, then turn on one another when it is time to decide who should be banished.
That makes an early challenge about more than simply completing a task. As viewers, we will be watching who takes charge, who earns trust and whose behaviour gives the others something to question.

There is also a new companion programme, Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, offering a look at how Claudia assigns the roles. It arrives on BBC iPlayer at 9.15pm after the launch.
When is Celebrity Traitors on
The Celebrity Traitors begins tonight, Thursday 1 October, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The Lady Claudia pictures offer a glimpse of the opening spectacle, with the celebrities’ first decisions still to come.
