Black Doves Season 2 trailer sends Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw back into danger
Black Doves Season 2 arrives on Netflix November 5 as Knightley and Whishaw reunite for a dangerous new conspiracy in the first trailer.
Black Doves is returning to Netflix on November 5, with the first full Season 2 trailer revealing Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw back together as Helen and Sam for another dangerous mission.
Keira’s Helen remains caught between family life and her secret work for the Black Doves, passing government secrets to the covert organisation. Her position is about to become even more precarious because husband Wallace is preparing to become prime minister, potentially placing Helen as a spy at the very heart of government.
Sarah Lancashire also returns as Helen’s handler Reed, but the new season puts her directly in danger when she becomes caught in a ruthless plot and then disappears. Helen is left without one of her most important allies just as her access to government reaches a new level.

Ben’s Sam is facing problems of his own after the violent events of Season 1. Once a highly paid triggerman, he has fallen into legal trouble and low-level jobs before a mysterious man offers him a way out, drawing him into another dangerous arrangement.
Helen and Sam are eventually brought back together as they investigate what has happened to Reed. Their search leads to old friends and enemies while putting loyalties under pressure and forcing both characters to confront decisions from their past.

Several new characters are joining them, including Ambika Mod as anarchic Black Doves agent Laila and Babou Ceesay as Black Doves executive Mr Conteh. Sam Riley plays the mysterious Patrick, while Neve Campbell joins as US defence envoy Cecile Mason.
Gabrielle Creevy and Ella Lily Hyland also return as Eleanor and Williams, alongside Kathryn Hunter as Lenny.
Netflix has now confirmed that all six episodes of Season 2 will arrive on November 5, 2026, giving viewers just weeks to wait for Helen and Sam’s next mission.
