Alex Consani has returned to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the third year running, wearing a pair of golden wings on the same night Kylie Jenner made her first appearance on the brand's runway.
The 2026 show took place in Los Angeles on Sunday 18 October and was streamed live on the brand's YouTube channel.
Consani, 23, walked in two looks. The first was built around a long striped cape that deepened into forest green towards the hem, while for the second she changed into black lace with a pair of large golden wings, the piece most closely linked with the show's long history.
Her place in that history is already secure. In October 2024, when Victoria's Secret brought its runway show back after several years away, Consani and Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio became the first transgender models ever to walk it. She returned in 2025, and this year's appearance makes it three shows in a row.
That consistency is what makes this year worth noting, because a model being invited back again and again says far more about where she stands in the industry than a single headline debut ever could.
Consani's route to that stage began long before the wings. Born in California, she started modelling in 2015 at the age of 12, which made her the youngest transgender model in the world at the time.
She went on to build a large following on TikTok with comedy videos, then made her runway debut for Tom Ford in New York in 2021. In December 2024 she became the first transgender person to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards, and in May this year she became the first trans woman to join the host committee of the Met Gala.
Against all of that, Consani's return was a quieter kind of headline, though to us it was one of the most meaningful moments of the night, and it sits alongside a wider conversation about representation across fashion and film that SoaplandTV continues to follow.
Away from the runway, Consani has also been cast in American Horror Story: 13.
With a third set of wings now behind her, a fourth in 2027 would only add to a run that already belongs in the show's history books.
